“I would like to leave a positive review for Dr. Chaudhry. Dr. Chaudhry is a genuinely thoughtful and compassionate counsellor. In our sessions, she listens with full presence and responds with clarity, professionalism, and empathy. Today we discussed some very complex issues involving the Home Office, judicial review, and the difficulties I faced with the CE-filing system. What impressed me most was that she did not dismiss or minimise my experience — instead, she fully understood the emotional impact of being ignored by institutions and validated how unreasonable and overwhelming the situation has been. She also recognised the systemic nature of these problems and agreed that many people in similar situations suffer because the system fails to provide even basic reassurance or communication. Her understanding, insight, and non-judgmental support made me feel seen and respected. “I have been seeing Rebecca since November 2023, almost 8 months now. I felt so nervous on my first session, I knew for a few months before reaching out to Rebecca that I needed to start therapy again. I had made peace with that part. But addressing my problems always followed me with fear. Rebecca made me feel so welcomed from my first email I had with her and on my first one to one in person meeting with her. It went a lot better then I had built up in my mind. She made me feel really safe and comfortable and I felt she really listened to every word I had to say and gave me in return sympathy and an understanding to what I was going through. I’ve struggled to stay with previous therapist in the past because I never felt heard or listened to, I just very quickly labelled as something and dismissed but I don’t with Rebecca, she really engages in our conversations, I know she listens because she repeats information I’ve said from different appointments with her, that I forget at times I’ve said! And I really like that she challenges my thoughts by asking questions and showing a curiosity in them. It helps me think outside of the box I’ve created for myself and opens my mind up in a positive way, which feels really refreshing. My time spent with her has been incredibly rewarding, and her advice and help has been really great and I use it in my everyday life. Communication with Rebecca outside of therapy when organising appointments is very easy and she has always replied back very quickly. I would highly recommend her and her service! ”
