She gave us practical things to work on after each session and made sure that neither of us were left out. Helen created a safe space and made it easy for us to open up without judgement. Although this was my first session with Helen through Harley Therapy, she has been my therapist for much longer than that. Our relationship has been one of a rare trust, congruence with compassion and empathy, and of an enormous value to me. Helen still has a capacity to surprise me after all this time by how capable she is of understanding some very specific things about me. Her open minded approach and intelligent questions encourage me to think. I never thought that I could feel this accepting of myself, and it is all thanks to my therapy and personal development with Helen.
