“I have been working with Christie on and off for more than two years. I have found her clear approach to be very helpful in understanding my issues and how to best manage them. She sometimes recommends books and articles which give me more technical understanding and additional information. I find this particularly useful to help me centre myself in other people's experiences, and this also helps me reflect and journal in between sessions. Having the focus to reflect between sessions means I am using counselling actively to work on myself, rather than passively, and it's Christie's approach and guidance which supports me to do this. I like the consistency of her approach over time, and I feel like I really benefit from my sessions. Therapy gives me the chance to discuss things which I can't or don't want to discuss with my friends or people around me, and it supports me to regulate my emotions and reactions. Therapy (and Christie) really helps me to understand myself better and my 'parts' and this is so helpful in managing my life. ”

“I've seen Mark for over a year, and he's hands down the best therapist I've seen. My issues include burnout/chronic stress, anxiety, depression and ADHD. I've been in therapy on-and-off for many years, and various medications. Moreover, I've got a psychology degree myself and have a deep understanding of my own problems. CBT is not effective for me, and I was clear on what type of therapy that I responded best to, and Mark took on the style of councelling that I felt have helped me extremely well. He's been extremely compassionate, empathic, warm and easy to speak to - yet, also gently challenging me and prompting me, as well as giving very valuable insights into my issues. I'm certainly a much happier and more stable person, with his help, and I really look forward to returning as a client once I have the means to do so. He's been accomodating of rebookings and unlike basically any therapist I've seen previously, I was always looking Forward to our sessions, as opposed to dreading them.
