“I recently had a session with Dr Sidra Chaudhry and found the experience genuinely supportive and grounding. I came into the session feeling mentally overwhelmed due to prolonged uncertainty around a complex legal matter that has been ongoing for over a month with no clear progress. The sense of “being stuck” and waiting without movement had started to weigh heavily on me. I also discussed a distressing incident involving being attacked by a stray cat and the steps I took in reporting it, which added another layer of stress and frustration. “The sessions with Sam truly changed my life (I mean this in the least cliché way possible)! It was my first CBT therapy and even though I have a Master of Clinical Psychology myself I was still suspicious as to how I could really apply it to my own issues in life. I struggled with depression and anxiety for two years before I was able to identify it in myself and took action. I can't stress enough how grateful I am to Sam and her incredibly powerful techniques against rigid beliefs, unwanted thoughts and feelings, relationship issues, body dysmorphia, inner critique, and other nervous system whims... I came to her only a few months ago with a desperate need of regaining control on my own life and after only a couple of sessions I felt a positive shift in my moods and behaviours, which was also noticeable to my partner.
