“I have been working with Christie on and off for more than two years. I have found her clear approach to be very helpful in understanding my issues and how to best manage them. She sometimes recommends books and articles which give me more technical understanding and additional information. I find this particularly useful to help me centre myself in other people's experiences, and this also helps me reflect and journal in between sessions. Having the focus to reflect between sessions means I am using counselling actively to work on myself, rather than passively, and it's Christie's approach and guidance which supports me to do this. I like the consistency of her approach over time, and I feel like I really benefit from my sessions. Therapy gives me the chance to discuss things which I can't or don't want to discuss with my friends or people around me, and it supports me to regulate my emotions and reactions. Therapy (and Christie) really helps me to understand myself better and my 'parts' and this is so helpful in managing my life. ”

“I've had mostly weekly sessions with Steve over the past 6+ months. Steve is incredibly easy to talk to, calm and really helps me to interpret my thoughts, feelings and behaviours. “Justin was my second attempt at therapy and I'll be honest I was sceptical after my first experience, which had felt very clinical and impersonal, but I really needed help in that moment. I'm so thankful that I happened upon Justin's details. There are many things I have appreciated about Justin but I think the biggest thing is how easy he makes the process - he is very skilled at reading where you’re at and paces sessions such that you can cover very difficult things and yet he skilfully brings you back into the here and now, it felt very safe talking to him. He also feels very human, if that makes sense, there was no imbalance in the relationship and I never felt judged or ‘diagnosed’. I had around 30 sessions with him overall and it is one of, if not the, best investment in myself and consequently my family I have ever made, I’m less anxious, my relationships have strengthened and I feel just much more resilient. I will always be grateful and have no hesitation in recommending Justin to others.”
