“I have had therapy on and off over the last 8 years or so. Nina has supported me for two different periods over the last 2 years. Nina is very welcoming, where she would invite me into the session each time, emphasising that this is my space and time. What I loved about Nina’s sessions is they are client focused and client led. Depending on where I was at, or what I wanted to talk about, Nina was always happy to let me direct the session if I wanted to. If that week I didn’t have anything to discuss in particular, she always had areas she would suggest to work on based on what she thought would benefit me. Nina would always encourage me to challenge any of her thoughts if it was something I may disagree with, creating a really comfortable environment of open communication. I am now a month out of therapy, and looking back I believe this was pivotal in my growth and development. Firstly because it makes sessions very engaging, but also it because I feel it really allowed me to find the tools which work best for me. My self awareness has increased drastically, which in combination with my learnt tools, have made me well equipped for life at this stage. Finally, Nina and I developed a great working relationship. She is very relatable, down to earth and easy going. Therapy has ups and downs, but I feel where necessary, we could always have a laugh and keep it lighter hearted, if this aligned with my current state of course. I’m sure there will be a time where I could use therapy again, and I will no doubt be contacting Nina when that time arises. ”

“I have worked with Justin over a long period of time. Therapy has helped change the person I am today. I am vastly different from who and where I was. I have so many skills I wasn't previously armed with. I have learned so many of the skills I wasn't given and didn't have. It wasn't my fault is one of the biggest things I can accept today. My parents didn't teach me to communicate . Justin and I formed a safe therapeutic relationship and space. A safe place which was consistently held for me. Sometimes we sat quietly. I learned that I can be silent and its ok. I can feel and have emotions and I'm allowed to. I manage my thoughts and feelings very differently than before.I have worked through many different therapeutic lessons to process those feelings. Feeling a long time ago that it was impossible to let those feelings go once I'd felt them - they’d take over. But most importantly to express them is ok, expressing them in healthy ways. I know What is ok and what is definitely not ok in relationships with other people. And knowing it's a really healthy thing to form boundaries ....you are allowed it's cool! But I have learned how to be myself. Find what I enjoy from day to day. Singing. Art. Cooking nature. And being a healthier person both in mind and in body. I have basic skills . Which have turned in to coping skills. I have better resilience and have actually found times in life that I enjoy. I have stronger friendships. Am able to have a stable partner. I have lots more stability that I really honestly had thought were impossible for me. And sometimes life throws things at you you don't want. That happens but it will pass . And that's ok. Being me is ok sometimes… and other times it's fun and totally brilliant. And other times it's not nice. It will pass and change. I wish I could tell exactly in this review the intricate details and hard work we have done and how I have achieved all of this. In all this time I have laughed! And it is ok. I can cry and that's ok too. Mindfulness, healthy lifestyle. Enjoying creativity. I have explored parts of me that I didn't know I had, skills I didn't think I would ever master. This has been a fairly long piece of writing that I wouldn't have been able to probably start. Even be able to write. I do wish I could encapsulate the last few years in one review. I can't. Justin's ability to hold that space where it was ok to be. I can't explain it all. But I had such complex problems and needs which still sometimes raise their head and I know that's ok. I really recommend working with Justin, it has been transforming for me. Everyone has their own journey and I am so glad I had such an enriching journey with a healthy therapeutic relationship. With someone who taught me to be me and that there are different ways of doing things.”
