“I have been working with Christie on and off for more than two years. I have found her clear approach to be very helpful in understanding my issues and how to best manage them. She sometimes recommends books and articles which give me more technical understanding and additional information. I find this particularly useful to help me centre myself in other people's experiences, and this also helps me reflect and journal in between sessions. Having the focus to reflect between sessions means I am using counselling actively to work on myself, rather than passively, and it's Christie's approach and guidance which supports me to do this. I like the consistency of her approach over time, and I feel like I really benefit from my sessions. Therapy gives me the chance to discuss things which I can't or don't want to discuss with my friends or people around me, and it supports me to regulate my emotions and reactions. Therapy (and Christie) really helps me to understand myself better and my 'parts' and this is so helpful in managing my life. ”

“Josephine has been a major impact in my life. Since we started our sessions 8 weeks ago she has helped me immensely, how to change my thought process for a negative to a positive, the way i speak to myself and helping me navigate any problems or issues I face. Some of the things I originally mentioned at the start of the process such as: issues with sleeping, anxiety before work after weekends or annual leave and binge drinking. I have just finished my 7th session with Josephine, where we recapped everything to date and the milestones i have hit so far consist of: my sleep has been the best it ever has, after years of constant issues. I no longer have the Sunday blues and actually enjoy the day instead of counting down the hours and lastly she has been a great support and has helped keep me accountable with my drinking and today marks the 66th day i haven't had any alcohol and i feel amazing for it. I love our session and the continued progress and growth i have achieved to date. I would recommend Josephoine to anyone trying to better themselfs, who may be feeling a little lost or someone looking for guidance, Josephine is amazing! ”
