“I appreciate that Josephine is able to gently but firmly challenge me on some of my most stubborn thought patterns, and supported me as we unpicked these. She was able to read the weeks when I could be challenged and supportively pushed and take a step back on the weeks when I just needed a good cry! I feel I can be honest during my sessions, when historically during therapy I have slipped into masking or people pleasing tendencies. I always leave with one of her questions or suggestions in my head and coming to me at difficult times. ”

“I recently had a session with Dr Sidra Chaudhry and found the experience genuinely supportive and grounding. I came into the session feeling mentally overwhelmed due to prolonged uncertainty around a complex legal matter that has been ongoing for over a month with no clear progress. The sense of “being stuck” and waiting without movement had started to weigh heavily on me. I also discussed a distressing incident involving being attacked by a stray cat and the steps I took in reporting it, which added another layer of stress and frustration. Dr Chaudhry listened attentively without interrupting, and what stood out most was her calm, structured approach. She did not minimise my concerns, nor did she amplify them — instead, she helped me separate what was within my control from what was not. That clarity was extremely helpful. Her professional manner, combined with warmth and cultural sensitivity, created a safe space where I felt understood rather than judged. She was able to reflect back patterns in my thinking in a way that felt constructive rather than critical. I left the session feeling more regulated, less reactive, and with a clearer sense of emotional boundaries. I appreciated her integrative approach and her ability to hold both the practical stressors and the emotional impact at the same time. It felt balanced and grounded. “I came to Nick back in May 2023 during a very low and difficult period in my life where I was dealing with depression and anxiety. Since then he has been fundamental to my progress and helped me quickly deal and understand the issues I was experiencing. He made me feel at ease during my sessions where I historically had really struggled to open and talk about my emotions. I am now so much confident in myself, open with those around me and have overcome my depression because of his help. My life / relationships have significantly benefited from this and helping me share with those around me has been pivotal for my recovery. “This was my first time attending therapy and after our sessions it felt like I should have started so long ago! Julie made me feel so at ease from the 1st session, and straight away understood what I was going through and pinpointing exactly what my feelings were. Best of all giving direction into how to navigate through those feelings and getting to a place where I could be happy not just with myself but with others, and ultimately not feeling guilty about being happy. Being french as well made it even better to be able to express myself in ways that I couldn't in english, so that was extra helpful.
