“I have been working with Christie on and off for more than two years. I have found her clear approach to be very helpful in understanding my issues and how to best manage them. She sometimes recommends books and articles which give me more technical understanding and additional information. I find this particularly useful to help me centre myself in other people's experiences, and this also helps me reflect and journal in between sessions. Having the focus to reflect between sessions means I am using counselling actively to work on myself, rather than passively, and it's Christie's approach and guidance which supports me to do this. I like the consistency of her approach over time, and I feel like I really benefit from my sessions. Therapy gives me the chance to discuss things which I can't or don't want to discuss with my friends or people around me, and it supports me to regulate my emotions and reactions. Therapy (and Christie) really helps me to understand myself better and my 'parts' and this is so helpful in managing my life. ”

“I worked with Josephine for a little over 2 years and it was honestly the best decision I've made for myself. When I started, I was a nervous wreck and had terrible social anxiety, no self confidence, self-harm tendencies, and relied heavily on my boyfriend at the time. I had crippling anxiety about being out and about even when i was with friends and I even struggled to be in the house alone - I now live in London *alone* and I wouldn’t have been able to do any of it without Josephine! Josephine helped me through a horrendous breakup and I can confidently say that I wouldn't have been able to get through it without her. She's incredibly understanding and always knows just how far to push you without ever making you feel judged. With her help and guidance, I've found a new sense of freedom and independence that I never thought was possible. What I really appreciate about Josephine is that she validated and empathized with my fears and phobias, something I felt was lacking in my previous therapy experiences. “Over the course of 2 years Justin has completely changed the way that I have been able to talk to and treat myself. He has given me the tools that I needed to become a much more reliant person for myself and those around me. He provided a place where everything could be shared, discussed, explained and understood.
