She skillfully elicited a lot information on the major issues I wish to address in therapy and gently suggested how some of these might be categorised in clinical terms without making any dogmatic assertions. As a consequence, I felt that I was being listened to as a whole person rather than being assigned to particular theoretical boxes. Katrina also put me in the driving seat when it came to deciding which style of therapy would suit me best, frequency of sessions, 'homework' etc. So far, I am very happy with my choice and am looking forward to getting started with therapy in the next couple of weeks.”

“Working with Joe Harrington has been an absolute pleasure. I arrived at the first session feeling lost, thinking that I would prefer a therapist telling me what I need to do. Joe, with his listening and acknowledging approach, showed me that this wasn't the case, and guided me in such a way that my goals, tasks and values came from within myself. The conversations with Joe feels very natural and non-judgemental and there is a great balance between the therapeutic dialog on values and self-realisation, and the implementation of concrete tasks and goals. His voice is calm as he creates a friendly and productive atmosphere. Working with Joe has helped me become more aware of my part in a troubled relationship, and how to manage my feelings and approaches, which I believe has led me to be a better partner and has changed my relationship for the better. Next, I'll be taking a look at myself and my career, and if I ever need therapeutic help, I will gladly consider returning to Joe. “Anthony has been helping me for over a year and half. During this time, I have faced a lot of drama in my life and I was not at my best. Looking back, he has been so patient with me and has guided me to overcome a lot of personal problems: my own emotional problems, family, work and relationships. At first, I was very skeptical and feeling lost about the whole therapy thing and I was not so sure if this would work. But Anthony has helped me to set up plans, showing me facts and techniques, patiently couching me to practise. Whenever I feel really bad, I know I could always get some good advice from him and that really makes me feel better.
