“I would like to leave a positive review for Dr. Chaudhry. Dr. Chaudhry is a genuinely thoughtful and compassionate counsellor. In our sessions, she listens with full presence and responds with clarity, professionalism, and empathy. Today we discussed some very complex issues involving the Home Office, judicial review, and the difficulties I faced with the CE-filing system. What impressed me most was that she did not dismiss or minimise my experience — instead, she fully understood the emotional impact of being ignored by institutions and validated how unreasonable and overwhelming the situation has been. She also recognised the systemic nature of these problems and agreed that many people in similar situations suffer because the system fails to provide even basic reassurance or communication. Her understanding, insight, and non-judgmental support made me feel seen and respected. “I have just finished my 8th session with Carmen, I finished the call by booking in my next session, as I do each week and know I will continue to do for as long as I need her. I really look forward to my sessions with Carmen, I have never stuck with a therapist for this long so that speaks for itself, but I really wanted to come and leave Carmen a review because I think her work is just incredible. Her approach, patience, understanding, productive techniques...its all really comforting. Carmen has worked with me on trauma I haven't tended to before and I feel really safe doing that because she creates such a calm, safe space with no judgement. Carmen has provided me with techniques to get rid of my anxiety immediately in the moment, these have been very helpful and I have had to use them less and less because the work I do with Carmen is very empowering and helping my all round. Our sessions totally vary, and I really like that we can work on lots of different challenges/traumas I have. I have started healing, managing my emotions so much better and recognise behaviours I need to work on. I have also started creating boundaries, saying no and taking a bit better care of myself...I have more work to do but I'm really impressed at my growth and I think that's largely due to Carmen and the work we do...so, thank you!
