“I have a very complex medical history and difficult personal circumstances. I was anxious and apprehensive to use a therapist that I don’t know. I thought I would be judged for paying someone to talk to me. I find it’s not always appropriate to confide in family or a friend. Everyone has there own stuff going own & don’t always know the correct response to make me feel better. I picked Jenny because she sounded lovely and personable in her intro video on her page. She was very patient, had read my background and listened to what had brought me to her. I hope we can work together to help me to navigate with my circumstances. I’ve booked my next session already. “I have been to several therapists and without a doubt Dr. Sidra has been the most helpful one I have seen. She has been guiding me into the depths of my mind to confront the core of my struggles and develop a deeper understanding of who I am, and why I am the way I am. Dr. Sidra has shown me that the goal of her therapy is not just superficial / band-aid solutions (such as mindfulness methods for dealing with anxiety, depression, etc). Her therapy is aimed at finding the root of the issue and tackling it so that we can move on. In the couple of months I have seen her, I have been shocked by my own progress and how much I have learned about myself. I very much look forward to continuing my sessions with Dr. Sidra, as I believe that in every session with her I am discovering something new that will help me throughout the rest of my life.”
