As I’ve had therapy in the past, the session went as I expected. Paul was friendly, polite and courteous and made us feel welcome and comfortable. He made good eye contact with each of us, explained how the sessions could/would be constructed, asked for our consent on things like interrupting us and gave the reason why this might be necessary etc. He listened and acknowledged that he heard each of us. He explained important aspects of the therapy such as everyone having their own perspectives and that it would be a good idea to hold some sessions with just two of the three of us and gave the reasons which we agreed with. He asked for feedback at the end of the session and checked whether we thought he could help us which we all do. Overall, I couldn’t fault him or how the session went. We liked Paul and look forward to working with him.
