I really am not impressed with how this therapist was towards me when I had an internet issues. I believed we had a good relationship and therefore came back to her willing to pay privately despite...

I really am not impressed with how this therapist was towards me when I had an internet issues. I believed we had a good relationship and therefore came back to her willing to pay privately despite therapy being free for me via work. However it stunned me that she refused to refund my money or reschedule a session when I had internet issues and kept pleading with her to rearrange. Given current living crisis it’s such a shame that she showed no compassion or understanding toward me. Her Only caring about money attitude has left a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t believe my request was unreasonable and I informed her first thing on the day. My advice would be a little compassion goes a long way, think less about the euro signs. I also want to note here that the platform is also not of much help. They literally are unavailable over the weekend and of no help.. but one advise Use your credit card for bookings! That way you can pull your money back.

I am really sorry that you're feeling this way. From a human point of view, I tried to understand your needs as much as I could. Nevertheless, it is important to understand that there is a limit to how many times a client requests to reschedule, despite being aware of the cancellation policy or how many times me as a therapist can make an exception to that, as my own costs and time need to be covered and compensated. By booking a session, the client needs to agree to T&Cs as well as the cancellation policy, both necessary elements for a professional relationship
