I engaged Dr Cook because I was suffering from, what I thought was, depression. After a couple of sessions Dr Cook advised me I exhibited all the signs of Clinical Depression. I had four sessions, which I felt were helpful, and we agreed that, because he was on holiday he would contact me when he returned from holiday to agree a date for a follow-up session. In the period I did not speak to him my mood plummeted and I entered a very 'Dark Space', the consequence of which could have been very serious. I have written to Dr Cook to explain that I felt it very disappointing that he did not contact me again and that I could only assume he was too busy! I have never received a reply to my email. The bottom line is Dr Cook should not have taken me on as a client if he was not able to commit the time. I would not recommend Dr Cook - it is imperative, if you suffer from depression, that you have someone you can rely on. Sadly, Dr Cook is not that person!

Unfortunately I felt this therapist is not the right fit for me as I struggled to understand some comments made. However, he seemed to be a good listener and I imagine he could be really beneficial...

Unfortunately I felt this therapist is not the right fit for me as I struggled to understand some comments made. However, he seemed to be a good listener and I imagine he could be really beneficial for some people in the UK. I am pleased to say that I have found a better match for me on Harley Therapy.
