The key to our therapy was a good rapport and a consistent approach of feeling supported, and not judged, when I brought my difficulties to the sessions. Progress went through waves. We chose to use part of each session to discuss current issues and the second part, for the structured therapy. We had a lot of issues to work through and I can say I went from a state of chaos and hopelessness (close to) to one of near contentment. Life isn't perfect, but that isn't how therapy works. I'm now in a state where I can focus on the future without letting the challenges in my every day life consume me. I owe this to Mark. A+ therapist, if I had to rate him.
