As a therapist, I am committed to enabling individuals to become the best version of themselves and helping them to live a life which Is more in line with their values. I provide a non-judgemental space for clients to explore and reflect on their difficulties, in order to become more self-aware and make a change towards being the person they want to be. I am committed to helping clients develop strategies to manage the way they cope with difficult situations.
My training in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) enables me to work with people experiencing common emotional difficulties such as anxiety, low mood, anger, panic or adjustment to living with long-term health conditions. CBT offers a helpful framework in which to understand patterns of problematic thinking or behaviour, which can over time present in the form of the difficulties mentioned above. This practical, focused style of therapy is well placed to support people in learning to manage stress at work, anxiety about health or low mood related to a significant life event, to give just a few examples. I believe that health and nutrition is significant for your overall wellbeing, thus I draw on coaching techniques to help individuals reach their goals in relation to fitness or nutrition. I am available to therapy over the phone or via email which is often a more convenient format for people with the limitations of busy schedules or difficulty with travelling. I am experienced in supporting people with, depression, anxiety, anger, insomnia and panic and helping them find effective ways to manage these. I am to provide short-term solution focused therapy to help you change the way you are feeling now.

I began my training in 2011 at City University London completing a BSC in Psychology, I then completed a Postgraduate Dip in Psychology from University of Derby. Following this, I trained in Low-Intensity CBT at University College London (UCL). I have worked in NHS services; with people of all ages and backgrounds.
